The Terrorflyer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest IV, it is a winged, yellow dragon that combines traits of a bat and a tyrannosaurus.
Characteristics
Terrorflyers are reminiscent of pterosaurs, having long crests and the absence of forelimbs, but are made more dragon-like through their bulkier bodies and large jaws. They are a yellowish orange color in their official artwork, though they were originally gray in their first pixel appearance.
