He is the king of [[Trodain]], and [[Medea]]'s father. Both he and his daughter were cursed by [[Dhoulmagus]] as he stole the [[Godbird sceptre]] from Trodain's basement. At the end of the game, he becomes the [[Hero (Dragon Quest VIII)|hero]]'s father-in-law.
