The Mink Mantle is a piece of armour that only appears in Dragon Quest II. Despite it's frail appearance, the coat proves itself durable as any plate mail.
Dragon Quest II
The mantle may be purchased in the town of Burrowell, for an exorbitant price of 65,000 gold, and can be equipped by any of the Luminaries. In the original NES version it provides +30 defence, and +60 in all subsequent remakes.
