The bad egg (originally Eggeron) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is an egg monster with a white shell.
Characteristics
The bad egg holds the appearance of a cracked, white egg. An eye and a small smile can be seen through the pitch blackness inside the egg.

Bad eggs (then Eggeron) can be found in Baloch's Tower and the Mountain Tower in the past before and during the flood.
It has the ability to become another monster after some turns.
