Balzack is a character in Dragon Quest IV. A disciple of the alchemist Edgar, Mara and Nara's father, he killed his teacher for the Secret of Evolution he had discovered. The entirety of Chapter 4 is centred on the twins' quest to confront Balzack, whom they finally confront and defeat at King Leo castle. If he is injured he will heal himself fully with BEHOMA.
