Balzack is a monster Mara and Nara are seeking in chapter 4 of Dragon Warrior IV because he killed their father. He is also an underling of Necrosaro. When they confront him in chapter 4 he is defeated but King Keeleon appears and defeats the party and throws them in jail. In chapter 5 Balzack occupies the empty Santeem castle and has become stronger due to the power of evolution but is still defeated by the hero and his party.
