The beast claws are a recurring set of claws in the Dragon Quest series. They are a powerful, high-level weapon designed for martial artists and other brawlers. Originally plain can openers with no special traits, they now inflict more damage to creatures in the Beast family as of the ninth game.

'Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King 3DS
The beast claw has an attack bonus of +81 and inflicts 1.3 times damage on members of the Beast family. It only appear in the 3DS version and can be equipped by Morrie. The beast claw is dropped by Sir Leopold. It can be upgraded into the beast talon by combining it with an ethereal stone in the Alchemy Pot.
