The bone stake is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It is a low-ranking knife that only be wielded by those who cannot equip conventional weapons, such as monsters and feral children.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit | edit source]
The bone stake has an attack bonus of +6. It can only be equipped by Saber and certain monster companions.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit | edit source]
The bone stake has an attack bonus of +5, it can be bought at Alltrades Abbey and can be wielded by Ashlynn and several slime companions.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]
The bone stake has an attack bonus of +6 and a style bonus of +3. It can only be equipped by Ruff. They can be purchased in L'Arca for 110 gold, although one can be found in one of the houses, as well.
