Bud brothers appeared from the beginning of the game. They are able to call for backup from [[Direlog]]s and can build up their [[Tension]] with [[Muster Strength]]. If they become enraged, they are even able to build it up even further with [[Muster Extra Strength]].

The Bud brother is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IX.
