Mean Sweep is an ability in the Dragon Quest series. It tries to trip an enemy and is an upgrade from Leg Sweep.

Appearances

Dragon Quest VII

BigTrip is a hybrid ability learned by advancing to rank 5 as a Martial Artist or Sailor immediately after completing the other. In the 3DS version, hybrid abilities no longer exist and Mean Sweep is learned normally by advancing to rank 4 as a Sailor. Mean Sweep causes damage and may prevent an enemy from acting their next turn.

Dragon Quest Monsters

Called BigTrip in this game, it is an upgraded form of Leg Sweep. Leg Sweep will grow into BigTrip when the monster reaches level 12 with 66 HP, 63 strength, and 77 agility.

Dragon Quest Monsters 2
