The gold digger is a mass of once-liquid gold that has since hardened into uneven ingots. The pile of precious metal serves as an ideal target for amassing quick cash.
The monster formerly shared it's Japanese name with the gold golem from its debut in 1988 through 2025, when it was rechristened in the May 23rd update patch for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
