Claw Slash is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is an enemy-only attack in various games where the monster rips and tears into a character with their razor-sharp claws or talons, dealing 125% damage compared to a normal attack.

Dragon Quest V
Claw Slash makes its first appearance and can be used by Great sabrecats, Hellions, Ice-breakers, Doom sluggers, and Mermen.
Dragon Quest VI
Claw Slash can be used by Jumping jackals, Tiger jackals, Grrrgoyle, and Mortamor's left hand during the final battle.
Dragon Quest VII
Claw Slash can be used by Anarchaeopteryxes, Preying mantises, Slaying mantises, Oligarchaeopteryxes, Monarchaeopteryxes, Compos mantises, Stripes, and Putric Stinkenheimer.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, it can also be used by Bewarewolves, Scarewolves, and Tearwolves.
Dragon Quest VIII
Claw Slash can be used by Great sabrecats, Mermen, Merkings, Geyzer, and Geyzer in Memoriam.
