A Clockwork cuckoo is a mechanical bird monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest VIII.
Characteristics
The monster is a mechanical starling roughly the size of a human head that behaves much as its living counterpart. It's metal casing is a pale eggwhite with blue accents for the plumage and gold for the legs. They are the successful result of a mad scientist's experiment, and can remain air born even when launching their feathers as razorsharp projectiles.
