First appearing in Dragon Quest VII, Coral Grief is a nautically themed spell that bombards all enemies with sharpened shards of scleractinia.
Appearances
Dragon Quest VII
Cora grief is learned by reaching rank 7 of the Pirate vocation, and it hits all foes for 80~110 for 8MP. Despite the spell's animation and oceanic theme, it actually carries the same rock/strike element that Boulder Toss and Knuckle Sandwich.
- In the 3DS remake of VII, Coral grief can only be used by the Pirate vocation and is now learned at rank 3.
