The Crone is a monster that was introduced in Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation.
Characteristics
Crones are old women with sallow skin, long unkempt blue hair, and have lost most of their teeth. They wear olive-colored robes and pointy hats and fly on a besom with a red handle and brown twigs, giving them the appearance of a stereotypical witch or hag seen in fairy tales. They are capable of casting a variety of spells in battle. They attack by smacking enemies with their brooms like a club when out of MP. Much like the Prestidigitators, they have sold their souls to evil and become monsters under Baramos' command.
