The '''Deft dagger''' is a recurring weapon in the series. This dirk is incredibly sharp, but the real appeal is that it gives the user a chance to go first in battle: in the ninth game this means that who uses the dagger will always go first during combat when using normal attacks, and in subsequent titles it increases the chance for preemptive strikes for the whole group.

Available in rank S blue grotto chests. If multiple characters are using the dagger, then the regular turn-order algorithm is used for those with copies, with the most agile going first as expected.
