The gorerilla is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Introduced in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, it's a small simian wielding a huge club.
Characteristics
The gorerilla is an easily agitated ape who possesses a rudimentary understanding of tool usage akin to real-life gorillas. Contrary to its namesake, the gorerilla is rather diminutive and by no means great in size. However, it makes up for its short stature in a surplus supply of strength and is capable of dealing devastating blows.
