One is dropped by [[Gadrongo]]. An ethereal stone is also required to complete [[Template:DQIXQuest/151|Quest #151]]: Pushy Peddler. It can be used in the following alchemy recipes:

Ethereal stones are used as an ingredient in the use of [[alchemy]] and equipment crafting. It can be collected from sparkly spots or dropped rarely by various {{MFamilies}}s, including [[Raving lunatick]]s, [[Shadow]]s, and [[Umbra]]s.

Ethereal stones can be dropped by [[Overkilling machine]]s, [[Überkilling machine]]s, and [[Zombie gladiator]]s, exchanged for 5 [[Mini medal]]s each, or received as a reward for defeating a [[Veteran monsters|Veteran gigantes]] with gold clear time. They can be sold for 750 [[gold]] coins. Ethereal stones can be used create [[Sorcerer's ring]]s and the classic recipe for the [[Mugger's mask]] in the [[Alchemy Pot]].
