Fade is a spell that has so far only appeared in the third game in the series. It turns the party invisible for a handful of steps.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit | edit source]
The spell is learned by mages and Sages at level 31 and makes the party invisible for 15 MP and lasts for 32 steps, making it very easy to sneak into certain castles. Being transparent has no influence on random encounter rates, however.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit | edit source]
Fade is learned by Mages and Sages at level 31 if their wisdom exceeds 135 points.
