The ice axe is a recurring Axe in the Dragon Quest series.
The weapon has had two distinct designs: the original seen in the Monster Battle Road arcade games that resembles an axe frozen by the windchill of its own momentum, and the current design seen in the main series that resembles a large snowflake.
