The '''Morrie devil''' is a new monster in the ''[[Dragon Quest series|Dragon Quest]]'' series and it was introduced in the [[Nintendo 3DS|3DS]] remake of ''[[Dragon Quest VIII]]''. Morrie devils are a subspecies of the imp that are clearly inspired by '''[[Morrie]]''' of the same game they debuted in.  This demon, as the name suggests, has the color scheme of Morrie's clothes with their "costume" constantly having red and green colors everywhere, also in their wings. They wear black gloves and boots of black leather. The pitchfork is replaced by a white spear with golden details and a [[Slime stack|slime stack]] figurine inserted on it.

The '''Starrydemon''' is a new monster in the ''[[Dragon Quest series|Dragon Quest]]'' series and it was introduced in ''[[Dragon Quest X]]''. Starrydemons are a subspecies of the imp. These demons, as the name suggest, have a star-like pattern in their "costume", however the stars only appear in their torsos and forehead, the rest of the "costume" it has pastel colors on them (principally bubblegum pink and pale blue). They wear a pair of pale blue gloves and boots. The pitchfork they wield is made from silver.
