The Incarnus is a special monster that evolves into different formes. The Incarnus is only known to appear when there are overt signs of a great catastrophe coming. It was featured in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker and post-game in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. All ten of its formes are members of the Boss family.

Wulfspade and Wulfspade ace
A wolf-like form incorporating the "spade" from playing cards in its name.
Hawkhart and Hawkhart ace
A bird-like form incorporating the "heart" from playing cards in its name.
Cluboon and Cluboon ace
A simian-like form incorporating the "club" from playing cards in its name.
Diamagon and Diamagon ace
A dragon-like form incorporating the "diamond" from playing cards in its name.
Ace of spades
A more sinister-looking form of a wulfspade ace, having absorbed Darkonium.
