Indignus is a boss character in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. He is one of the Spectral Sentinels and is fanatically devoted to his master Mordegon.
Appearance and Personality[edit | edit source]
Indignus is a tall, muscular humanoid with blue skin, matching armor with yellow accents, and a blue cape with a red inner lining. Similarly to Dhuran, he carries an enormous dual-bladed sword.
Indignus' personality is only briefly alluded to in the original version of XI, but is expanded upon in Erik's scenario in the S: Definitive edition. He is shown as the cruel jailer of the Rock of Wrong, mocking the ex-thief's attempts to escape until he is directly confronted and forced to take matters into his own hands. Indignus is also the one who destroyed the floating home of the Watchers, showing no remorse for killing innocents to serve his master's ends.

Regardless of this, Indignus does show a measure of respect for the power of his opponents similar to Dhuran.
