The killer moth is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Killer moths are menacing moths dyed red with the blood of unsuspecting travelers. It focuses on group disruption with bedazzling techniques and paralysis. In later games, the lepidopterans gained the ability to breathe out venomous toxins, as well, making them even more of a nuisance.
