The Life bracer is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series that gives a boost to the wearer's defence and max HP.

The life bracer has a defence bonus of +5, a max HP bonus of +30, and can be equipped by all characters. It can be made in the Alchemy Pot by combining a Gold bracer with a Recovery ring or dropped rarely by Dark devildogs. The bracer can also be used in various recipes for other items, as well:
- Recipe: Über miracle sword = Miracle sword + Life bracer
- Recipe: Staff of resurrection = Rune staff + Life bracer + Yggdrasil leaf
