Lifeboat is a defensive skill that appears in Dragon Quest VII. When used, it summons the biblical boat to shelter the party.

In the PSX original, Lifeboat could only be learned as a hybrid skill of mastering the Sailor and Priest vocations. In the 3DS remake, it is learned automatically by reaching rank 3 of the Pirate vocation.

In either case, Lifeboat nullifies all damage done to the party for 10MP, making it more expensive (and stylistic) than Kaclang.
