Lightning Speed is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Thunderbird's signature abilities, charging its body with electricity to boost its evasion and spell power.

Lightning Speed can be learned by Thunderbird at level 21 and costs 31 MP to use. When used, it increases the user's evasion rate by 20%, and both spell potency and recovery by 15% for three turns.
