The Peeper is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen.
Characteristics
Peepers are unusual bipedal creatures with features similar to that of a large flightless bird. They have a long pair of legs that allows them to run quickly, a tiny pair of arms, and their head consists of their large eyeball surrounded by three pairs of thin frills. Peepers are capable of casting a variety of support magic, including being able to turn themselves into steel with Kaclang and casting Bounce to reflect the spells' of adventurers.
