The Pickeerer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV. It is a short, sprite-like monster with green wings on its back.

Characteristics

Pickeerers are humanoid monsters with the appearance of purple-skinned children with a pair of green angelic wings on their backs. They have a huge pair of pointed ears, solid yellow eyes with small irises, a magenta shell-like growth on their heads, and a singular horn on the middle of their heads. The monsters wear olive green togas and golden sandals on their feet. They are vexatious threats in battle, having a tendency to gang up and call upon more of their kind to attack adventurers or summon Cureslimes to heal themselves and their allies. According to their bestiary description in X, the pickeerers are discontent with the injustice in the world and take out their frustration by attacking travelers.
