The Picksy is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV. It is a sprite-like monster with angelic wings on its back.
Characteristics
Picksies are humanoid creatures with blue skin, a small pair of angelic wings on their back, spiral horns on their forehead, and a large pair of pointed ears. They wear orange togas and sandals. On their heads, they have a shell-like growth in a darker shade of blue than their skin and they have yellow eyes with small irises. The mischievous creatures have a tendency to elude adventurers, as they only become active at certain times of day. In battle, picksies are fond of boosting the agility of themselves and their allies with their Acceleratle spell. The monsters are often classified as demons in spinoff games.
