The Quayhorse, formerly known as Seahorser and Aquestrian gladiator is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VII.

Characteristics

Quayhorses are big seahorse-like monsters with orange scaly skin and a pair of arms. These monsters are seen wearing a roman-like armor, with the top part being a bronze chest armor with golden details and the foot part being a white skirt that is held to the Quayhorse's body by a black belt, and a pair of dark red gloves. Quayhorses wield a shield, made of bronze with golden details (similar to the armor), and a trident, with a metallic handgrip and the rest of it golden.
