The rippled rapier (さざなみの剣 sazanami no ken), also known as the bounce sword, is a sword in the Dragon Quest series. When used as a tool in battle, it casts Bounce.

The rippled rapier has an attack bonus of +55 and a style bonus of +35. It can be purchased at Buccanham for 6,200 Gold Coins and sold for 3,100. One can be found in the Sunken Citadel in the past, as well. It can only be equipped by The Hero and Aishe.
