Rory Bellows is a character from Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. He is the chief engineer on board the Albatross. Rory teaches the Hero how to scout monsters, and get them to help further his quest.
Profile
The captain's right-hand man is a stout, gruff old boy who speaks in a thick brogue. He's responsible for maintaining and running the ship's engines and other mechanical features. Despite his oak-like stature, Rory is just as likely to lose his mind in the face of danger as he is to remain steadfast and hearty.
Crisis
In the first quarter of the game, Rory finds himself being swallowed whole by the gigantic wormonger, much to Archie Logg's horror and dismay. He then must be rescued by the Hero.
