The scytheborg (メガボーグ, Megabōgu?) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.
Characteristics
Scytheborgs are hulking, great, green goons that are more machine than monster. Standing strikingly tall, these ogres are augmented with menacing machine modules made for maiming lost adventurers, including a bladed arm built for slicing and swiping. They wear a purple grotty waistcoat that barely covers their hulking horrific physique. Their robotic brains are malfunctioning to the point when using their strongest scythe attack they go into a furious frenzy, attacking friend and foe alike for devastating damage.
