Slime stacks are a type of slime that was introduced in [[Dragon Quest IX]]. Most commonly, you encounter them by finding three regular slimes, which then merge into a slime stack if none of them are defeated beforehand.

The slime stack is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest IX, it is, as indicated by its name, a stack of three slimes.

Characteristics

A slime stack is simply an organized stack of three slimes: a blue one on the bottom, red in the middle, and green on top.

Given that they are three slimes working together, they are fairly formidable when first confronted and especially exceed the sum of their parts.
