The Needler is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series that was first introduced in Dragon Quest XI.
Characteristics
Needlers are short humanoid creatures distinguishable by the cotton fluff balls on their bodies. They carry wicked sharp needles as tall as themselves which they use to make pincushions out of adventurers and are fond of healing their allies with medicinal herbs, but are just as likely to waste their turn in battle dancing. They wear a green grass skirt, yellow shoes, and a brown leather mask with eyes shaped like buttons. On their heads, they have two fluff balls coming out of their masks and fluff on their chin roughly in the shape of a beard. Needlers also have a fluffy tail much like a rabbit.
