The Badger mager is a monster that was introduced in Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.

Characteristics

The badger mager is a mammalian apprentice mage wielding a large autumn leaf that doubles as a spell-casting tool and surprisingly reliable weapon. While only a novice in the blustery arcane arts, the badger mager can be a threat in the early stages of the game if called forth by a leafy larrikin.
