Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Bud brothers are plant monsters with a red eye in the center of their five-pointed spotted yellow leaves. It has five stubby limbs that give it the appearance of wearing striped red stockings and each end in purple geta sandals. Around its midsection, it wears a skirt roughly made of green and blue grass. They are born from the remains of withered ginkgo trees. According to its monster info in X, the bud brothers are able to call upon allies with the loud clattering of their geta.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The bud brother's English name is a play on the term blood brother, referring to the symbiotic relationship between the plants and the Badjas, as well as their Direlog friends.
- Contrary to the monster's Japanese name, the bud brother is still more reminiscent in appearance to a maple leaf rather than a ginkgo leaf.
