A Meddle slime is a type of Slime introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2, found in both Treepidation and Doubtback.
Characteristics
The interesting thing about the Meddle slime is that, when one first encounters one in the game, one is inclined to think that they have found a Metal slime, for it is virtually indistinguishable from the genuine article. However, the player, thinking they have a chance at racking up high experience points for killing one, should not get too excited. The Meddle slime, it turns out, is an impostor Metal slime, yielding only normal experience points upon its defeat. The "yellow-bellies" are difficult to recruit, as they tend to flee as quickly as a real Metal slime, and take offence easily when scouted.
