The Meowgician is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is an anthropomorphic cat with mage-like qualities.

Characteristics

Mewling bipedal amateur catty casters of magic that wear an orange robe in an attempt to hide their feline form, along with a bronze cat bell worn around their necks on a long chain. Carrying gnarled wooden staves that they constantly tap against the ground, allowing them to fling the fiery Frizz (Blaze) spell, although they quickly run out of power to cast it.

Description Fierce felines also known as Frizzcats because they fire off frequent blasts of Frizz - sometimes to unexpected effect.

Before being mages, they were extremely aristocratic cats, and can't be seen in public without cleanly washed faces.
