The spell Mera (メラ Mera, originally localized in English as Blaze, and later localized as Frizz) is a basic fire spell used to attack one enemy. Related spells include the stronger Merami, Merazoma, and Meragaiā.
Mera is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It is a low-level spell that is often initially known by mages and mage-like characters. Being a low-level spell, Mera does very little damage and targets only a single enemy.
