The Skullrider is a monster in the series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI.
Characteristics
Skullriders are goblin-like creatures that ride on the back of six-legged skeletal beasts, dressed in dark blue ninja garb and wielding sharp, curved swords. They can perform fiery slashes and sweeping attacks to trip up their opponents' feet. The riders can be knocked off their skeletal mounts, allowing adventurers to ride them and even scale up walls vertically.
