*The use of the word ''Souten'' (そうてん) in Japanese can be interpreted as the katakana spelling of two different kanji, being 蒼天 which means clear skies, and 早天 which describes the early dawn. The reference to the exosphere in the English localization pulls double-duty and refers to both kanji in that the exosphere is the first layer of the atmosphere to receive sunlight during dawn and is so thin that cloud formations cannot form at the layer and is thus "clear".
