Eye for Distance is learned by Torneko at level 7.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit | edit source]

Eye for Distance is learned by advancing to rank 2 of the Thief vocation.

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]

The skill is present in the original PSX version and is once again learned by reaching rank 2 as a Thief, but was removed from the game in the 3DS remake due to the presentation shifting to true 3D.
