King Doric appears in Dragon Quest Heroes II as a recurring character that can be played as in co-op dungeons, but is unable to be used in the regular story mode. His moveset is mostly unchanged from the previous game, and is also used for the protagonists should they equip the same weapon. Additionally he is unable to equip any staves, being locked to the King's cudgel, though he can still equip Orbs and accessories.
