The Drakularge is a monster in the series.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Drakularges are immense bipedal dragons with rotund bellies, a small pair of wings on their backs, and a large pair of sharp claws. They have yellow scales with lighter cream-coloured undersides, solid yellow eyes, and a singular horn on top of their heads. The dragons' bodies are so large, they are said to be mistaken for hills or mountains when seen from a distance. They use their vicious claws for deadly slashing attacks and can breathe out powerful flames from their maws. Much like stereotypical dragons in fantasy tales, drakularges covet and hoard large piles of gold.

Description Defeating these doughy dragons yields useful loot, but stacked stats, crazy claws and Flame Breath don't make it a doddle.

They worry about the badjas that follow them wherever they go, as they don't want to go stepping on one by accident.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]

Drakularge appeared from the beginning of the game. They are able to breathe out fireballs instead of flame breath and can also perform Stomp. In Version 5.4, Vicious drakularges can be encountered in the Netherworld, as well. Their fireball is upgraded to Infernorb and their Stomp has become more powerful, inflicting around 400 damage to any characters struck by it.
