Sword Stance is a sword skill in the series.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit | edit source]
Sword Stance costs 2 MP to use and increases the user's base parry rate to 33% for four turns. It can be learned by the Hero, Erik, Sylvando, and Hendrik through the Swords panel in their Character Builders for 7 skill points.

Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds[edit | edit source]
Sword Stance was a sword skill usable by the Dai and the Luminary Leader as a Hero or Warrior. It is a short-range attack over a medium area that inflicts physical Slash damage and raises the user's Physical Defence by 50% for a short time. The way to unlock the skill was through the skill exchange shop.
