The Sconstrosity is a monster in the series.

Characteristics

Sconstrosities are animated pillars constructed from black stone, with the braziers that serve as their arms lit with a ghastly dark flame. Their stone bodies glow with a sinister red light. They can take unsuspecting adventurers unaware with their powerful fire spells and send them to the hereafter with their dance of death, as well as calling for backup from more of their kind to overwhelm opponents. According to their monster description in X, sconstrosities come into existence when a candle holder that has been neglected for a long time comes into contact with demonic miasma and transforms into a monster. They are driven by resentment and perform their deadly dance on anyone they encounter.

Dragon Quest X

Sconstrosity began appearing in Version 3.5. It is able to cast Kafrizz and perform Death Dance like its original appearance, as well as being able to perform Fuddle Dance, as well.
