The skeleton is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in the original game. It is the skeletal remains of a fallen warrior brought back from the grave to continue fighting.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Skeletons, are, much like their name would imply, a hostile and occasionally armed skeletons. They wear long grey tunics with brown and gold collars, brown leggings, dark blue gloves and boots, and a belt around their waists with a blue jewel as a buckle. Interestingly, their skulls are far longer than that of a normal human's, to the point that in some 3D games the cranium curves backwards slightly. The crack on their skulls is said to be a wound they received when they were still alive.
