The Death mask (originally Mask of corruption) appeared in Dragon Quest IV.

The mask is found in Cascade Cave.

The death mask has a defence bonus of +200 and can be equipped by anyone except for Psaro....but it is cursed. The side effect results in confusion.

It can be sold for 6 gold coins.
